TRIPLE OUTPUTS FOR EVERY TASK. Get ready for one of the most versatile and compact headlamps NITECORE offers. The NITECORE NU25 headlamp packages three outputs (white/high CRI and red) into an ultra lightweight body you can wear comfortably for hours on end. A primary CREE XP-G2 S3 LED emits up to 360 lumens of light with up to 88 yards throw which can be used for running, cycling, setting up camp and so much more. For up close tasks, reading and photography, there is a secondary high CRI LED which produces a warm 20-lumen beam and renders colors and details better than cool white outputs. Last but not least, the NU25 also features a secondary red LED for preserving night vision, map reading and hunting. There are even three special modes (red caution/SOS/Beacon) for emergencies and signalling!

EASY DUAL SWITCH CONTROLS. Dual switch controls located conveniently on the top of the headlamp control white and red outputs separately and make it easy to switch between all three outputs so you always know what light you're accessing. The NU25 also features a lockout mode to prevent accidental button presses while stored in tight spaces.

COMPACT AND LIGHTWEIGHT. Weighing less than an ounce and small enough to fit in a pocket, the NU25 is comfortable for daily use and long excursions.

BUILT-IN BATTERY & CHARGING. The NU25 comes with a built-in 610 mAh li-ion battery that offers 30 minutes of runtime on Turbo and up to 160 hours on the lowest setting. Keeping the NU25 is super simple with a built-in micro-USB charging port located on the underside of the unit. Use the included charging cable to plug the light into any USB source and a red indicator light under the control buttons will illuminate. Upon completion, the light will turn green. There's even a battery power indicator so you'll never be caught with low battery again.

I purchased this for my husband for his birthday and he absolutely loves it! It is so bright and doesn't dig into your forehead when wearing it! totally worth every penny, especially since you wont waste money having to replace the batteries. He uses this all the time. we also have a 2 and 4 year old who aren't exactly gentle! If it can withstand these monsters, I trust it will last a long time! Great product!

This is the best headlamp I've ever used, period. And, for this price? Wow, I was really blown away. And, in an emergency where there is no light bouncing off of anything, the turbo mode really gets you where you need to be. The battery lasts forever when you account for how bright this lamp is. The one cool thing I love about this is that it works on a micro-USB charge application. So, my wife and I put a few fully-charged charging blocks in our packs, and have them ready to hard line in if the batteries run out on very long treks (a few days or longer). A+!

I still need to do long-term field testing of this headlamp, but so far I'm super impressed. My previous headlamp was the Black Diamond ReVolt rechargeable lamp, but I always thought it was bulky, heavy, and not that bright when night hiking. The Nitecore is bright, light weight, and because it's so compact it is less likely to bob or bounce on the head. I also like that it has a dedicated button for the red light and I'm less likely to get lost in the various modes selections.

This is a brilliant little headlamp. Really lightweight yet functional. I like the separate buttons for red or white light. And the lock feature is important. The number of lumens is perfect for what I need while fishing or camping. Impressive little light for the money.

This headlamp is better than expected. disclaimer, I have not used it backpacking yet until this summer. It is very light and comfortable. I like the brightness settings. The brightest setting is plenty bright. Im not sure why you would want more than that. I recommend this

The Nitecore NU25 adds lumens and a red light feature that the NU20 does not have. That's a nice combination to a still small and light-weight headlamp. What's missing from the NU25 that the NU20 does have is a nice plastic cover to prevent accidental activation while in your backpack (which did happen to me once - learned a lesson to always pack the headlamp where it can't be inadvertently turned on). The absence of such a simple feature was disappointing and the only negative aspect of an otherwise Bonner product.

Only 4 stars because the headband kinda slips off too easily. Just replaced it with a shock cord headband, no worries now. The light itself is the best. Light, powerful, and rechargeable. I've had 6-7 expensive headlamps over the years, this is by far the best.

I used this headlamp on the Appalachian Trail and it lit my path without fault. I switched the unnecessarily heavy headband for a shock cord and it came in at just over an ounce. For the weight, price, brightness and functions, this is the best headlamp you can get.

I am really into flashlights. I have headlamps that cost $100+ but I find myself using this one over them more and more mainly because of the ultra lite weight. The beam angle adjustment is positive and well made. Battery lasts as advertised. Replace the band with shock-cord to make it even lighter if necessary! Great for trailrunning.

This is the brightest and lightest headlamp I have found. It is also rechargeable! It also has not only a red light, but several levels of brightness with it. The only caution I would give is it has a lockout feature that can make you think it�s broken. I wish it didn�t have that feature.
